This unusual 65-minute workout works and lengthens your muscles using yoga, Pilates, and dance conditioning. Trainer Grace Lazenby warms you up with yoga (impossible to view while you're doing it, so watch it first). She then alternates yoga with intense segments of ballet-like muscle conditioning (done barefoot) and Pilates mat work. In a standing lower-body segment you're supposed to use a body bar for balance (you can substitute a chair) and a seven-inch ball held between the knees, and another segment requires light dumbbells. You'll get more out of the difficult abdominal segments if you're already familiar with Pilates. One minor annoyance: the camera sometimes lags in showing the limb you're working. If you're bored by your exercise routine and have some familiarity with yoga and Pilates, this video will work your core muscles and increase your flexibility and muscle endurance.
